Who Are You Most Like?

Psalms 119:1-8 [RV1885]

Notice First - That the Psalmist praises those who are "perfect in the way." vs. 1-4
Second - But when he comes to think on his own heart, David can not but cry out, "Oh that my ways were established to observe thy statutes." vs. 5
Question - Who do you more resemble? Those perfect ones? Or King David?

ALEPH

1 Blessed are they that are perfect in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord.

2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies,
that seek him with the whole heart.

3 Yea, they do no unrighteousness;
   they walk in his ways.

4 Thou hast commanded us thy precepts,
that we should observe them diligently.

5 Oh that my ways were established to observe thy statutes!

6 Then shall I not be ashamed,
when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

7 I will give thanks unto thee with uprightness of heart,
when I learn thy righteous judgments.

8 I will observe thy statutes:
   O forsake me not utterly.

Mission Statement

The Center for Reformed Theology and Apologetics (CRTA) is dedicated to providing biblically sound online resources for the edification of God's people. The Center is committed to the system of doctrine known as Calvinism, which we see to be the most biblically faithful systematization of the Bible's teachings. The Owner is a Reformed Christian committed to a strict subscriptionist view of the Westminster Standards, yet many of the articles on this site represent a wider view of the Faith. Please use discretion in all that you read here -- and everywhere else too.
